The Ryman Auditorium. The Mother Church of Country Music. 60 years ago, Loretta Lynn made her debut on that hallowed stage. Now, she’ll be there forever. A bronze statue of the Coal Miner’s Daughter has been added to the Ryman’s Icon Walk. Miss Loretta is only the third star to be honored in this way. She joins Bill Monroe and Little Jimmy Dickens in downtown Nashville.
