The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum is hosting the Bloomsburg Mini Maker Faire on Saturday, May 4th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the Museum. The Bloomsburg Mini Maker Faire is calling for all makers to come and exhibit what they love to do! Apply by Sunday, March 31 here.
Part science fair, part county fair, part craft show and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors.
Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth — a family friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making and share what they are learning. Makers range from engineers to artists to scientists to crafters to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds. As the Children’s Museum is host to the Bloomsburg Mini Maker Faire, we encourage “Young Makers” to apply also.
