It’s a busy time for football coaches as they’re getting their teams ready for the long season ahead. But Mike Zimmer, head coach of the Minnesota Vikings, took time out of his busy schedule to also help students get ready for the long school year ahead.
Mike showed up at The Salvation Army in St. Paul, Minnesota, to deliver 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to students there.
He definitely enjoyed being able to help those in need — but he enjoyed interacting with the kids even more.
