The Better Business Bureau claims con artists are using Siri, Alexa and the Google Assistant to scam people. The scammers are putting out fake customer support numbers to the aforementioned virtual assistants. When people ask Siri, Alexa or the Google Assistant to call a customer support number, they sometimes are connected to the con artist, who then attempts to steal personal information. One scammer tried to get a person to buy them a $400 gift card.
